Bicentennial Bikeway: A Wayfinding Project

Bicentennial bikeway resides along the Brisbane river, beginning from the suburb of Toowong to North Quay in the city. The goal was to create an bold, abstract and engaging wayfinding system that was different to what was usually used, drawing the users attention and making their journey more enjoyable. 
Style guide of the wayfinding system includes a three colours for palette: Black, White and Yellow. The typeface Bebus Neue is the font for this wayfinding system, including an white bordered box for certain locations on the bikeway. An example of how the icons will look like is also included. 
The complete sign family for the bikeway. The the three bigger ones are so people can see it off in the distance, with the smaller ones for  directional and amenity purposes.

Maps are used throughout the bikeway to help the user with their journey. 
Ambient signage used at certain key points on the bikeway. 
Key points through the site have  chill out zones for the user to take a break or get a drink of water.
